WEDNESDAYS - 7.30pm-8.30pm at Pilrig St Paul’s Church Hall WHAT TO EXPECT The Improver classes are the bridge between beginners and intermediate level, where you develop confidence and learn so much more about Tango dance. Here we cover all the core steps and techniques that make up this dance. You will develop your musicality, begin to play with invasions, discover variations and learn how to connect steps as your improvisation skills improve. There are three terms of improvers classes, covering all the important material and techniques to get you dancing tango confidently. BOOKING The best value way to book the classes is by booking the whole course. The next best way is to buy a class pass for 10 classes and then use those credits to book the individual classes. You can also just pay for individual classes. If you attend regularly, booking the course will save you time and be the most cost-effective as well as guaranteeing your place each week. Please remember to book for two people when booking with a partner! DO I NEED A PARTNER? You are welcome to book with or without a partner for these classes, and we will change partners during the classes. Argentine Tango is a partner dance and we want everyone to dance, so if there is an imbalance between leaders and followers, we expect dancers to try both roles. We can’t guarantee that you will always be dancing your preferred role in class, and in fact trying both roles is beneficial.
