About this Class

WEDNESDAYS 8.45pm-9.45pm at Pilrig Church Hall ABOUT THIS CLASS This class is for confident dancers who wish to keep improving their Tango experience and abilities. Intermediate Tango dancers will have completed at least a year (three terms) of Improver classes, and will have mastered all the material in these courses. Intermediate level is about expanding the breadth of expression, connection and variety in the dance. We work on new movements as well as improving quality in what you already know and introducing variations, alternatives and combinations. BOOKING The best value way to book the classes is by booking the whole course. The next best way is to buy a class pass for 10 classes and then use those credits to book the individual classes. You can also just pay for individual classes. If you attend regularly, booking the course will save you time and be the most cost-effective as well as guaranteeing your place each week. Please remember to book for two people when booking with a partner! DO I NEED A PARTNER? You are welcome to book with or without a partner for these classes, and we will change partners during the classes. Argentine Tango is a partner dance and we want everyone to dance, so if there is an imbalance between leaders and followers, we expect dancers to try both roles. We can’t guarantee that you will always be dancing your preferred role in class, and in fact trying both roles is beneficial.
